Dr. Shahriar is a highly skilled child health specialist with a robust background in pediatric medicine. Graduating from the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong, in 1999, Dr. Shahriar further specialized in child health, obtaining a Diploma in Child Health.

With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Shahriar excels in the management of pediatric emergencies, demonstrating proficiency in various critical procedures. His extensive capabilities also include the integration of quality dimensions into neonatal health services.

Dr. Shahriar has a keen eye for capacity development and has proven his expertise in training service providers on Neonatology and Pediatrics. His commitment to continuous learning and quick adaptability has allowed him to thrive in challenging work environments, where he can effectively work under pressure.

He pursued post-graduate pediatric nutrition at Boston University, USA, in 2018, showcasing his dedication to staying updated with the latest advancements in his field. Additionally, he holds certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation, Childhood Cancer Chemotherapy, Neonatal Resuscitation at Birth, Epi Vaccination.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Shahriar gained valuable experience as an Assistant Registrar in the Department of Pediatrics at Uttara Women’s Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka from 2001 to 2008. He also served as a Medical Officer in the Department of Pediatrics at Bangabandhu Memorial Hospital in Chittagong during the same period.
