With over a decade of experience in diagnostic imaging, Dr. Nusrat Jahan is a highly skilled Sonologist, blending her expertise in medical ultrasonography with a strong commitment to patient care. She is proficient in performing and interpreting a broad spectrum of ultrasound procedures, with a particular focus on obstetrics and fetal health. Driven to provide precise diagnostic support, she combines a robust academic background with practical expertise in her field.

Dr. Nusrat holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in Barisal, affiliated with the University of Dhaka. She completed her foundational training in Medical Ultrasonography at the Bangladesh Institute of Thyroid Medicine & Imaging Research (BITMIR) in Dhaka and further specialized in obstetrical Doppler, fetal anomaly scans, and fetal echocardiography at the Diagnostic Ultrasound Research & Training Centre, Dhaka. Additionally, she earned a Diploma in Medical Ultrasound Diagnostics (DMUD) from Northern University, Dhaka, strengthening her expertise in ultrasound diagnostics.

Currently, Dr. Nusrat is a Sonologist at Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital. Previously, she served as a Sonologist at Ad-Din Women’s Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka.

Her international experience includes working as a General Physician at the Primary Healthcare Centre under the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in her career, Dr. Nusrat held an honorary position as a physician in the Medicine Department at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College & Hospital in Dhaka.
