She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the Armed Forces Medical College, affiliated with Dhaka University. Pursuing advanced specialization, she completed her FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dhaka Medical College through the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Dr. Ferdousi’s expertise and dedication make her a respected and trusted professional in her field.

Dr. Ferdousi Akter has done comprehensive training across various reputable institutions in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She has completed two years of intensive training in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and an additional 1.5 years of focused training in another institution. Her expertise was further refined through one year of specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Additionally, Dr. Ferdousi gained invaluable experience managing high-risk pregnancies in ICU settings during her 3.5 years at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, equipping her with critical skills for handling complex obstetric cases.

She has pursued targeted training in reproductive health, including specialized instruction in Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) under the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB) and advanced training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
