Dr. Md. Rezaul Quader is an accomplished dermatologist with a career spanning over three decades in clinical practice, research, and academia. He completed his MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College and later specialized in dermatology and venereology. He then completed a Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV) from the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGM&R) in Dhaka.
With a diverse and progressive career path, Dr. Rezaul Quader has held numerous pivotal roles over the years. Beginning as an Assistant Surgeon at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, he transitioned into academic roles, including Lecturer of Pharmacology at Mymensingh Medical College. Over the years, he served as a Medical Officer at various institutions such as Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGM&R) as well as Thana Health Complex.
He later became an Assistant Registrar and Consultant in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). His tenure at BSMMU saw him rise to the position of Senior Consultant, a role he held until 2016.
Dr. Rezaul Quader has contributed significantly to the field of dermatology through his extensive research and has co-authored several articles and publications that have been covered in prominent medical journals. His works cover a range of topics including the Correlation of fungal infection of the external auditory canal with environmental factors in a region of Bangladesh, hereditary skin disorders, Cutaneous Non-histocytoses diseases, Atypical Presentation of Mycosis Fungoidis and much more.
