Dr. Fariza Adnan Upama is an experienced and certified consultant dermatologist specializing in dermatology and venereology, with particular expertise in clinical and aesthetic dermatology as well as dermatosurgery. She combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on expertise in advanced dermatological procedures, including laser treatments and other modern skin technologies. Her practice reflects a perfect blend of evidence-based medicine and compassionate, patient-centered care, aiming to enhance both skin health and overall well-being.

Dr. Upama completed her MBBS from Dhaka National Medical College under the University of Dhaka, followed by a Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV) from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. She subsequently earned the MCPS (Dermatology) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) and has successfully completed FCPS Part I, currently pursuing FCPS Part II at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Additionally, she holds a Fellowship in Dermatosurgery from the Dermatology Foundation Bangladesh, further strengthening her clinical and surgical proficiency.

Currently, Dr. Upama practices as a Consultant Dermatologist, providing comprehensive clinical and aesthetic dermatology services across several reputed healthcare institutions. Throughout her career, Dr. Upama has pursued numerous advanced trainings and certifications, including a two-year postgraduate course in Dermatology and Venereology at CMH, Dhaka, and a Fellowship in Dermatosurgery and Laser Dermatology from the Dermatology Foundation Bangladesh. She also holds certification in Sexual Health and is a lifelong member of both the Bangladesh Dermatological Society (BDS) and the Society of Dermatosurgeons Bangladesh (SDSB).
