Dr. Md. Mamun Or Rashid Nayan is a highly regarded chest and respiratory medicine specialist, recognized for his strong clinical acumen, comprehensive training, and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. With extensive experience across leading government medical institutions in Bangladesh, he has built a solid reputation for excellence in the diagnosis and management of complex respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.

He completed his MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College and subsequently earned his MD in Chest Disease from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), one of the country’s premier medical institutions. To broaden his expertise in the intersection of metabolic disorders and respiratory health, Dr. Nayan also completed the Certificate Course on Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM. In recognition of his professional standing and continued engagement with global best practices, he is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and a Member of the American College of Physicians (MACP), reflecting his active participation in international medical communities and a lifelong commitment to learning.

Dr. Nayan has accumulated substantial hands-on experience in internal medicine, cardiology, and respiratory care. He served as Registrar in the Cardiology Ward at Rangpur Medical College and as Clinical Assistant in the Medicine Ward at the same institution, where he was directly involved in the evaluation and management of complex medical and cardiovascular cases. His clinical exposure was further enriched through his tenure as Indoor Medical Officer at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), Mohakhali, and the Infectious Disease Hospital, Mohakhali, Dhaka—two of the country’s most specialized centers for pulmonary and infectious diseases. These roles provided him with in-depth experience in managing tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, and other critical chest conditions.

Known for his meticulous approach, ethical practice, and compassionate bedside manner, Dr. Nayan places strong emphasis on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and clear patient communication.
