Dr. Faridul Haque is an accomplished gastroenterologist with a solid academic background and a steadily growing footprint in Bangladesh’s gastro–liver healthcare sector. He completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, followed by an MD in Gastroenterology from Dhaka Medical College under BSMMU—training that laid the foundation for his specialization in digestive and liver diseases.

To strengthen his diagnostic proficiency, Dr. Farid completed the Certificate Course in Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM and the Certified Medical Ultrasound (CMU) course from CMUD, enhancing his ability to manage complex gastro–liver conditions with precision.

He started his academic journey as a Lecturer of Pharmacology at Anwer Khan Modern Medical College and Hospital, playing a role in shaping future medical professionals. He further broadened his clinical exposure through honorary training in Internal Medicine at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. After joining the BCS cadre, he served as an Assistant Surgeon at an Upazila Health Complex in Shariatpur until 2021, delivering essential medical services at the community level.

With a focused career trajectory in gastroenterology, Dr. Faridul Haque is now serving at the National Gastro Liver Institute and Hospital, Mohakhali. In this highly specialized national institution, he is actively involved in managing complex gastro–liver cases, providing dedicated patient care, and contributing to advanced clinical practices in hepatology and gastroenterology.
