Dr. A. F. M. Shahidur Rahman is a highly accomplished dental and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive expertise in oral healthcare and maxillofacial surgery. With a distinguished career spanning several years, he has made significant contributions to both clinical practice and medical education.

Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka, Dr. Rahman has also held the prestigious position of Head of the Department, where he played a pivotal role in advancing dental education, surgical techniques, and patient care. His leadership has greatly influenced the training of future dental surgeons and the implementation of modern surgical practices.

Dr. Rahman’s academic journey is marked by a strong commitment to excellence. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dhaka, followed by a Master of Surgery (MS) in Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery. To further enhance his expertise, he pursued the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Additionally, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) from Dhaka University, solidifying his academic foundation and research proficiency.

With years of dedicated service in both clinical and academic settings, Dr. Rahman has developed profound expertise in diagnosing and treating complex maxillofacial conditions, including facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, and oral pathology.
