Dr. Asia Khatun Mumu is a dedicated and passionate doctor with a promise to treat her patients with the care and compassion they deserve.
She completed her MBBS from Medical College for Women & Hospital and is currently undergoing FCPS Part II (Internal Medicine) training at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital. Previously, she gained valuable experience as a pathology trainee at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP), where she specialized in haematology.
During her internship at the Medical College for Women & Hospital, Dr. Asia Khatun completed rotations in various departments, including Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. This comprehensive training equipped her with a solid foundation in clinical practice and patient care.
Dr. Asia Khatun also holds a Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP) from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP). She also obtained an MCPS degree in Laboratory Medicine from BCPS. Additionally, she completed a Certificate Course on Diabetology (CCD) from the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh at BIRDEM.
Apart from her professional commitments, Dr. Asia Khatun actively participates in free medical camps in her native area, demonstrating her commitment to serving the community and improving access to healthcare for underserved populations. She promises to deliver accurate and precise test results which aid clinicians to make well-informed decisions regarding patient care.
