Dr Farhana Zaman passed the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Dhaka Dental College Hospital in 2008. She joined in Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) as an Assistant Dental Surgeon in 2013. She completed her FCPS in oral and maxillofacial surgery from BCPS in 2018. She has been serving patients of dentistry for the last 16 years in different government and non-government hospitals of Bangladesh. Along with the general dental treatment, like extraction of teeth, scaling, polishing, filling, root canal treatment, crown, and bridge prosthesis. She has a special interest in treating oral cancer, oral ulcer, facial trauma, and missing teeth through the placement of dental implants. She has been working as an Assistant Press and Publication Secretary in BAMOS (2023-2025).

Currently, she is working in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dhaka Dental College Hospital as a Consultant. She is also working in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department as a visiting consultant at KPJ Specialized Hospital.
