Dr. Faria Ahmed is an experienced paediatrician with over nine years of comprehensive experience managing paediatric patients. Currently serving as an Assistant Registrar in Paediatrics at the Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, she has established herself as a compassionate and skilled child specialist. Her professional journey reflects an unwavering commitment to child healthcare, enriched by extensive training and diverse clinical roles.

Dr. Faria earned her MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College and pursued an MD in pediatrics at the prestigious Bangladesh Institute of Child Health (BICH), affiliated with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Her career began with a five-year residency in Pediatrics at Dhaka Shishu Hospital (now BICH), where she honed her skills in treating various pediatric conditions. Following this, she served as a Medical Officer in the Planning and Research Department of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), contributing to policy and healthcare initiatives. She later worked in Pediatric Outpatient Departments at Kaliakair Upazila Health Complex and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, gaining extensive hands-on experience in outpatient care.

Dr. Faria’s clinical expertise spans all aspects of pediatric patient management, from preventive care to treating complex illnesses. She is recognized for her empathetic approach and ability to communicate effectively with young patients and their families, ensuring a holistic and supportive healthcare environment.
