Dr. Farial Akshan is a dedicated medical professional specializing in dermatology, focusing on dermatology and venereology. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Science & Technology (USTC), Chittagong. She further advanced her education by pursuing a post-graduate Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Dr. Farial Akshan has pursued multiple specialized training programs to refine her expertise. She completed a basic Hair Transplant course at the Dermatology Foundation of Bangladesh and a fellowship in hands-on Dermato surgery training from the same institution. Additionally, she received Level 1 aesthetic training from the Dhaka Dermatology Institute and underwent six months of dermatology training at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital. Dr. Farial Akshan has also participated in workshops on Dermoscopy, Botox, Chemical Peeling, Nail Surgery, and Flap Surgery at B.A.D.CON.

Dr. Farial Akshan’s professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at East West Medical College, a Medical Officer at Laser Treat, and a Lecturer at Ashiyan Medical College Hospital. She is currently working as a Medical Officer at Universal Medical College and Hospital (formerly Aysha Memorial Hospital Dhaka). Throughout her career, she has acquired extensive experience in chamber practice as a General Physician.

Dr. Farial Akshan has contributed to several research studies published in esteemed medical journals. Her co-authored works include Association between Premature Ejaculation and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (SJAMS), Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy for Hair Loss Treatment (IJDS), and Association Between Different Categories of BMI and Severity of Acne (GAJMS). These studies reflect her commitment to advancing dermatological and medical research.
