Dr. Md. Hanif is an accomplished and passionate surgeon with over 13 years of experience in various surgical disciplines. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Ad-din Medical College, Dr. Hanif is committed to delivering high-quality surgical care to his patients. His expertise spans a wide range of surgeries, including abdominal, laparoscopic, breast, colorectal, and surgeries related to diabetic complications. Known for his empathetic and professional approach, Dr. Hanif always builds trusting relationships with his patients and their families.

Dr. Hanif completed his MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College under Dhaka University and then his FCPS in Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. His extensive experience in the field includes positions such as Registrar and Assistant Professor at various esteemed institutions, including Ad-din Sakina Medical College and Ad-din Women’s Medical College Hospital, LabAid Specialized Hospital, etc, in diverse surgical environments.

Dr. Hanif has undergone specialized training in Urology, Orthopaedics, and General Surgery at notable institutions like the National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

As an active researcher, Dr. Hanif has contributed significantly to the medical field through his publications on a wide range of topics, including chronic pancreatitis, the impact of glycemic control in diabetic surgical patients, and comparative studies on laparoscopic versus open appendectomy. His research has been published in respected journals, including the Combined Military Hospital Dhaka Journal (CMHDJ).

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Hanif is also a dedicated educator, serving as a clinical tutor and instructor for surgery at Ad-din Women’s Medical College and Ad-din Sakina Medical College. He holds memberships in professional bodies such as the Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (SOSB) and the Society of Endo-Laparoscopic Surgeons of Bangladesh (SELSB), further showcasing his commitment to the advancement of surgical science.
