Dr. Md. Salim Uddin is a highly dedicated physician and specialist in Medicine with advanced training in Gastroenterology. He earned his MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, under Dhaka University, followed by a Certified Course on Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM. He completed his FCPS in Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) and is currently undergoing final-part FCPS training in Gastroenterology at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dhaka, where he has been receiving structured postgraduate training over the past three years.

With extensive clinical experience in both Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Salim currently serves as a Classified Specialist in the Department of Medicine and Gastroenterology at CMH Dhaka. He manages complex medical and gastrointestinal cases, including emergency and critical care, advanced life-saving procedures such as central venous and femoral catheter insertion, endotracheal intubation, pleural and ascitic fluid aspiration, and comprehensive patient stabilization. He is also trained in diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Salim is known not only for his clinical expertise but also for his empathetic approach toward patients. He believes in listening carefully, understanding patient concerns, and providing care that addresses both medical and emotional needs, fostering trust and comfort throughout the treatment process.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Salim is actively engaged in academic research. His work includes studies on catheter-related bloodstream infections in hemodialysis patients and the clinical presentation and diagnostic yield of CT-guided FNAC in lung cancer, which have been published and presented through Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) platforms.

He is a registered member of the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) and the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), and remains committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while continuously advancing his expertise in gastroenterology through ongoing learning and research.
