Dr. Md. Sharif Ahsan is a dedicated and experienced medical professional specializing in pulmonology and internal medicine. He holds an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College. He has further advanced his expertise through an MD in Pulmonology from Dhaka Medical College, under the auspices of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). With a solid academic foundation, he is a highly skilled clinician in managing chest diseases, tuberculosis, and related comorbidities.

Dr. Md. Sharif Ahsan began his career as a Medical Officer in a Medical College Hospital where he honed his skills in patient care and internal medicine. In 2014, he joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Health Cadre as an Assistant Surgeon, serving as a Medical Officer at the Upazila Health Complex in Gazipur. His dedication to pulmonology led him to pursue residency training at Dhaka Medical College, specializing in managing complex respiratory diseases. Currently, he is serving in the Respiratory Medicine Unit at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital, Dhaka.

Dr. Md. Sharif Ahsan is skilled in performing advanced medical procedures, including pleural fluid aspiration and fiber optic bronchoscopy. He specializes in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions, such as tuberculosis and other chest diseases. Dr. Ahsan has actively contributed to national and international pulmonology conferences, showcasing his work and acquiring insights into global best practices.
