Dr. Md. Sohel Rana Bhuiyan is a dedicated and skilled medical professional with a strong academic foundation and over a decade of experience in clinical practice. He completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College. He then pursued his MD in Endocrinology at BSMMU, where he gained hands-on experience in the diagnosis and management of complex endocrine conditions, including diabetes mellitus (DM), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), obesity, disorders of sex development (DSD), and infertility.

Dr. Md. Sohel Rana Bhuiyan’s clinical career spans several reputed government healthcare institutions in Bangladesh. He is currently serving as a Registrar in the Department of Medicine at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital. Before this, he worked as an Assistant Registrar at the 250-bed General Hospital in Chandpur.

Dr. Md. Sohel Rana Bhuiyan began his government service career as a Medical Officer under the Directorate General of Health Services, serving at the Upazila Health Complex in Brahmanpara, Cumilla. His work during this time helped build a strong foundation in general medical practice, emergency care, and primary health services.

With a strong passion for endocrinology and patient-centered care, Dr. Md. Sohel Rana Bhuiyan combines academic excellence with a compassionate clinical approach. He is currently an executive member of the Association of Clinical Endocrinologists & Diabetologists of Bangladesh (ACEDB).
