Dr. Md. Zubayet Hossain Khan is a dedicated and forward-looking orthopaedic specialist with a strong academic foundation and focused clinical experience in orthopaedic oncology. He is recognized for his disciplined clinical approach, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and evidence-based orthopaedic care. He completed his MBBS from Ibrahim Medical College and subsequently earned his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedic Surgery from Chittagong Medical College under Bangladesh Medical University. In pursuit of continued academic excellence and global clinical standards, Dr. Zubayet is currently a Final Part Trainee of FCPS (Orthopaedics) and has completed MRCS Part A (UK). These achievements reflect his strong academic discipline, commitment to structured training, and dedication to maintaining internationally benchmarked surgical competencies.
Dr. Zubayet is presently serving as a Clinical Assistant in the Orthopaedic Oncology Unit at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Dhaka—Bangladesh’s leading tertiary referral center for orthopaedic care. In this highly specialized environment, he is actively involved in the multidisciplinary management of musculoskeletal tumors, limb salvage procedures, and complex oncological orthopaedic cases. His role provides extensive exposure to advanced surgical planning, perioperative patient management, and long-term functional rehabilitation.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Zubayet maintains a strong interest in academic learning, case-based discussion, and outcome-oriented surgical practice. He remains committed to continuous professional development and to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of orthopaedic surgery in Bangladesh.
