Asst. Prof. Dr. Mofazzal Hossain is a skilled ENT specialist with over 15 years of diverse clinical experience in managing ear, nose and throat, thyroid conditions. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of ENT at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College, with special expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, microsurgery of the ear, bronchoscopy and thyroid surgery.

Before joining MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College, Dr. Tafsir worked in several reputed institutions, including Apollo Imperial Hospital, Chattogram, Chittagong Medical College & Hospital, Chattagram Metropolitan Hospital (Cardiac ICU), United Hospital Ltd ,Gulshan (Neurosurgery) and as a District Trainer at NIPSOM under UNICEF. Known for his meticulous techniques, academic involvement and compassionate patient care, he continues to play an important role in advancing ENT services and training.

He has completed his MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College, University of Dhaka and MS (ENT & Head Neck Surgery) from Bangladesh Medical University (BMU).He also Life member of the Bangladesh Medical Association, the Bangladesh Society of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery.

Dr. Tafsir has attained training from different institutes in Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, ICU and Anesthesiology, Maxillofacial surgery, General surgery, Burn and Plastic surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology and radiotherapy, Endocrinology, Accident and Emergency,A CLS AND BLS , and FOL.

His areas os expertise include Endoscopic Nasal and Sinus Surgery (FESS), Ear Microsurgery (Tympanoplasty and Mastoidectomy), Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy and Septoplasty, Nasal, Blockage and Polyp Treatment, Thyroid and Salivary Gland Surgery, Snoring and Sleep Apnea Management, Pediatric ENT Conditions, Hearing and Voice Disorders, Vocal Cord Surgery, Laryngology, Tracheostomy, Microlaryngeal Surgery, FOL and Bronchoscopy, BLS and ACLS provider.
