Dr. Mohammad Rownak Khurshid is a highly skilled Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with over a decade of experience in Bangladesh’s government healthcare sector. Specializing in complex vascular procedures, he has consistently delivered surgical outcomes comparable to top medical centers.

He earned his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College Hospital and later completed his Master of Surgery (MS) in Cardiovascular Surgery from Dhaka University. His journey began as a Medical Officer, gaining hands-on experience in rural healthcare before specializing in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka. There, he actively participated in major cardiovascular surgeries and post-operative care.

Dr. Khurshid has served at Dhaka Medical College Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer and now as a Resident Surgeon & Consultant of Vascular Surgery. He regularly performs open vascular surgeries, including peripheral bypass, aorto-bifemoral bypass, vascular trauma repairs, and varicose vein treatments. His expertise extends to CABG, valve replacements, and emergency vascular interventions.
