Dr. Sanjida Hossain is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 17 years of clinical and surgical experience in leading public hospitals across Bangladesh. She is widely known for her expertise in high-risk pregnancy management, feto-maternal medicine, and comprehensive women’s healthcare. Her approach combines clinical excellence with compassion, ensuring safe, ethical, and patient-centered care for women at every stage of life.
She completed her MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and earned her FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Dr. Sanjida is currently undergoing Post-Fellowship Training in Feto-Maternal Medicine at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. She has also received advanced professional training from the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine (SMFM) and is an ongoing fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Sanjida has served at prestigious institutions, including Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, and has held key clinical positions at Kuwait Maitri Hospital, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, and Balaganj Upazila Health Complex, Sylhet. She has extensive experience managing high-volume obstetric services, providing care to 40–50 patients daily in antenatal, labor, and postnatal settings.
Her clinical expertise includes the management of high-risk and complicated pregnancies, obstetric emergencies, and feto-maternal conditions. She is skilled in performing major obstetric and gynecological procedures, including caesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries, along with comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care.
Dr. Sanjida Hossain is a life member of the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB) and the Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh (SOSB). She is actively involved in research, teaching, and mentoring, with a strong focus on evidence-based obstetric care and maternal-fetal health.
