Dr. Shaukat-Ul-Bari is a committed orthopaedic surgeon with extensive training and hands-on experience across some of Bangladesh’s leading medical institutions. He completed his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College under Rajshahi University and later pursued advanced specialization, earning his MS in Orthopaedic Surgery from the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), University of Dhaka.

Dr. Shaukat-Ul-Bari has developed a strong clinical career through progressive roles in surgery, emergency care, and orthopaedics. He is currently serving as a Registrar in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NITOR, Agargaon, where he is actively involved in routine and emergency orthopaedic procedures, trauma care, inpatient and outpatient services, postoperative monitoring, and academic support for postgraduate trainees.

Before joining NITOR, he worked as an Emergency Medical Officer in the Department of Neurosurgery at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital (NINS), gaining valuable experience in managing stroke patients, post-traumatic head injuries, and critical neurological emergencies.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Shaukat-Ul-Bari served in the Department of General Surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, working as both Medical Officer and Assistant Registrar. In these roles, he contributed to a wide range of general and emergency surgical procedures, trauma management, postoperative care, and outpatient consultations. His foundational clinical training began as an Assistant Surgeon at the Upazila Health Complex in Ullapara, Sirajganj, where he handled emergency trauma cases, assisted in surgeries, provided postoperative care, and supported outdoor patient services.

Across these institutions, he has accumulated extensive experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery, general and neurosurgical emergencies, and comprehensive patient management. Known for his compassionate approach, patient-centered communication, and disciplined surgical practice, Dr. Shaukat-Ul-Bari ensures thorough, empathetic, and evidence-based care for every patient.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he has contributed to orthopaedic research. His thesis, “Evaluation of the Outcome of Biplane Double Supported Screw Fixation,” conducted at NITOR, was published in an international PubMed-indexed journal—reflecting his dedication to academic advancement and improving orthopaedic treatment outcomes in Bangladesh.
