Dr. Shourav Das is a dedicated physician with advanced training and international exposure in diabetes and cardiovascular care. He completed his MBBS from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College under Dhaka University. He later earned an MSc in Diabetes with Merit from the University of Chester, UK, and holds a Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus from the Royal Liverpool Academy.

To further strengthen his clinical expertise, Dr. Das completed the Certified Course on Diabetology (CCD) at BIRDEM General Hospital & Research Institute, as well as the Certificate Course on Cardiovascular Disease (CCVD). He is also a proud Member of the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Currently, Dr. Shourav Das serves as a Consultant in the Department of Medicine and Endocrinology at Dohar General Hospital, where he provides comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, endocrine disorders, and general medical conditions. His role involves full clinical responsibility for diagnosis and treatment, conducting appropriate investigations and procedures, offering professional medical guidance, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols aimed at improving patient outcomes.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Das is actively involved in academic and research activities. His research includes a systematic review titled “The Efficacy of Vitamin D Supplementation in the Treatment of Diabetic Nephropathy,” reflecting his strong commitment to evidence-based practice and the advancement of diabetes care. With a compassionate approach and robust clinical expertise, Dr. Shourav Das continues to make meaningful contributions to patient welfare and the development of modern endocrine services.
