Dr. Tabassum Nasrin is a board-certified dermatologist with over 18 years of experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She brings expertise across medical and cosmetic dermatology, with a reputation for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care with empathy and precision.

She earned her MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College and completed her MD in Dermatology & Venereology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Additionally, she holds advanced certifications in laser therapy, aesthetic medicine, and dermoscopy, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional growth.

Currently serving as Consultant Dermatologist at Kurmitola General Hospital, Dr. Nasrin manages complex dermatological and cosmetic cases. Her procedural skills include skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrosurgery, chemical peels, PRP, microneedling, Botox, dermal fillers, and laser therapy. She also provides holistic skincare counseling and STD prevention education as part of comprehensive patient management.

Earlier in her career, she served as a Medical Officer at BSMMU, actively engaging in both clinical and academic dermatology. She has also worked in rural and peri-urban healthcare settings—including an Upazila Health Complex and Ullah Para 20-Bed Hospital, where she delivered essential outpatient, emergency, and maternal-child health services.

Her clinical journey began as an Honorary Medical Officer at the Department of Dermatology, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, following her internship at Mymensingh Medical College.

Dr. Nasrin is a member of the National Dermatology Association and the International Society for Dermatology. Her areas of interest include aesthetic dermatology, laser treatments, dermoscopy, and phototherapy (PUVA, NB-UVB). She actively participates in CME programs and mentors junior doctors, ensuring the next generation of dermatologists benefit from her expertise and dedication.
