Prof. Dr. A. K. M. A. Sobhan is a highly experienced ENT specialist with more than three decades of service in the field of Otolaryngology. He earned his MBBS, followed by a Diploma in Otolaryngology (DLO) and an MS in Otolaryngology, building strong expertise in both clinical practice and academic teaching.

Dr. Sobhan began his career in government service in 1986 and went on to serve in several leading medical institutions across Bangladesh. He was Professor & Unit Head at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at M Abdur Rahim Medical College, Dinajpur, and the National Institute of ENT, Tejgaon. He also held positions as Associate Professor, Senior Consultant, and Registrar at Sir Salimullah Medical College, and gained early career experience as MO/IMO at IPGMR (PG Hospital), Dhaka.

Throughout his career, he has been deeply committed to the advancement of ENT services through patient care, teaching, and departmental leadership. His clinical expertise covers ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders, and he is widely respected for his compassionate, patient-centred approach.

Today, Prof. Dr. A. K. M. A. Sobhan continues to serve as an experienced and trusted medical professional, balancing his roles in patient care, medical education, and departmental leadership. Highly respected by colleagues, students, and patients alike, he remains dedicated to his lifelong mission of improving ENT services and enhancing the quality of life for his patients and their families.
