Prof. Dr. Liakat Hossain Tapan is a skilled and dedicated medical professional with extensive expertise and experience in the field of cardiology. Other than being highly qualified in his field. he is also known for his compassionate and empathetic approach towards his patients and clients.

Academically, Prof. Liakat completed his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College under Rajshahi University in 1988 and further pursued a Diploma in Cardiology in 2002 from NICVD under BSMMU. He continues to involve himself in the world of academia by partaking in research and contributing to several medical journals and articles within the field of cardiology.

Prof. Liakat is currently working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology Department at Cox’s Bazar Medical College, where he continues to expand his knowledge and expertise. Earlier he was the Principal of Gopalgonj Sheikh Sayera Khatun Medical College. Prof. Liakat also served in Deputation to the Ministry of Health of KSA as a Junior Consultant.
