Ms. Mahmuda Afrin is an academically qualified professional in the field of Food and Nutrition. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Food & Nutrition from the National College of Home Economics under the University of Dhaka. She subsequently obtained her Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Home Economics, specializing in Food & Nutrition.

Ms. Afrin has gained practical experience through an internship at the Department of Diet & Nutrition, BIRDEM General Hospital. During this internship, she acquired practical knowledge of dietary management for various diseases and health conditions.

Her professional development includes specialized training in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at BIRDEM General Hospital, where she completed a training programme. She also completed training on Food & Drug Interaction organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Dietetics & Nutrition (BADN).

Additionally, Ms. Afrin has participated in several professional workshops and learning programmes, including a workshop on Dietary Management of Renal Disease, organized by Diet for Healthy Life; a workshop on Nutritional Supplement organized by BADN; and the International Clinical Nutrition Update 2022, organized by Peerless Hospital and B. K. Roy Research Centre, Kolkata.

She has also completed the Masterclass in Advanced Clinical Nutrition – 2024, organized by RB Wellness and Nutrition Academy, further strengthening her knowledge of clinical nutrition.

Ms. Afrin is committed to developing her professional knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetics, with a focus on providing appropriate dietary guidance and nutritional care to support individuals in managing their health and well-being.
