Brigadier General (Professor) Dr. Imranul Hasan Murad is a renowned Dermatology and Venereology Specialist with an illustrious career spanning clinical practice, medical education, research, and healthcare leadership. Widely respected for his expertise in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and laser surgery, he has dedicated his career to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while advancing dermatological education and services in Bangladesh.

Dr. Murad completed his MBBS from Chattogram Medical College under Chattogram University. He subsequently earned a Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV) through the Armed Forces Medical Institute under the University of Dhaka and obtained the prestigious FCPS from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. To further enhance his expertise in advanced dermatological procedures, he completed specialized fellowship training in Laser Surgery at the Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok, Thailand.

Currently, he serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka Cantonment. In this leadership role, he oversees academic programs, specialist training, clinical services, and departmental development, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of dermatologists and healthcare professionals.

Throughout his distinguished military medical career, Dr. Murad has held several prominent appointments, including Principal and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Army Medical College Cumilla and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Cumilla, as well as Advisor Specialist in Dermatology at CMH Dhaka. He has also served as a consultant dermatologist at BGB Hospital, CMH Ghatail, and CMH Cumilla, where he gained extensive experience in managing a wide spectrum of dermatological and venereological disorders.

His areas of expertise include clinical dermatology, venereology, aesthetic dermatology, and advanced laser-based treatments. He is highly experienced in diagnosing and treating complex diseases affecting the skin, hair, and nails, as well as sexually transmitted infections. His advanced procedural skills include carbon dioxide (CO₂) laser surgery, fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Patients value his meticulous approach, clinical precision, and commitment to achieving safe and effective treatment outcomes.
