Dr. Afroza Parvin is a Sonologist with a particular focus on women’s imaging and obstetric ultrasonography. She has clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology and Imaging, and diagnostic ultrasound, with specialized training in ultrasound examinations related to pregnancy and women’s reproductive health.

Dr. Afroza completed her MBBS from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College, Dhaka, and subsequently obtained her DMUD from Shristy Institute for Health Sciences and Technology, Dhaka. As part of her specialized training, she received training in Transvaginal Sonography (TVS), Anomaly Scan, and Genetic Screening. Her training has given her experience in the assessment of early pregnancy, fetal development, and a range of gynaecological and reproductive health conditions through ultrasound imaging.

Throughout her career, Dr. Afroza has gained clinical experience in several healthcare and academic settings. She has been associated with Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College and served as an Honorary Medical Officer in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Her professional experience further includes serving as an Honorary Medical Officer in the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Bangladesh Medical University, providing additional exposure to diagnostic imaging and radiological practice. She currently works as a Sonologist at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital, Moghbazar, where she performs and interprets ultrasound examinations, with particular interest in obstetric and gynecological imaging.

Dr. Afroza takes a careful and patient-centred approach to women’s imaging, recognizing the importance of clear communication and appropriate clinical correlation when performing ultrasound examinations. She is particularly committed to providing accurate and reliable imaging support throughout pregnancy and in the evaluation of gynaecological conditions.
