Col. Dr. Quazi Sindhi is one of Bangladesh’s most experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, with over 25 years of distinguished clinical, surgical, and military healthcare experience. She is widely respected for her expertise in treating complex conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck, combining surgical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care to restore both function and appearance.

She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dhaka Dental College under the University of Dhaka and received postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Armed Forces Medical Institute and Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. She later earned FCPS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and further refined her surgical skills through a prestigious fellowship at Singapore General Hospital, one of Asia’s leading centers for advanced maxillofacial surgery.

Currently serving as Classified Specialist, Consultant, and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Military Dental Centre (MDC), Dhaka, she leads one of the country’s premier specialist surgical services. She previously served as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with the Kuwait Armed Forces, gaining valuable international experience in advanced trauma and reconstructive surgery.

Col. Dr. Sindhi has extensive expertise in oral cancer surgery and reconstruction, facial trauma, jaw fractures, salivary gland disorders, head and neck tumors, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, severe oral and facial infections, dental implant surgery, and complex reconstructive procedures. She is particularly skilled in restoring facial form, function, and confidence following trauma, cancer surgery, or congenital deformities.

Over the course of her career, she has successfully performed numerous complex surgeries, including facial reconstruction following road traffic accidents, extensive oral cancer resections with reconstruction, treatment of facial tumors, and advanced head and neck procedures. Her meticulous surgical technique, combined with a multidisciplinary approach, has helped countless patients regain normal function, appearance, and quality of life.
