Dr. Rubina’s professional journey includes serving as an Honorary Medical Officer at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Dhaka, where she gained invaluable experience in treating patients with diverse mental health conditions. She also served as an Honorary Medical Officer at the Department of Psychiatry, Bangladesh Medical College.

Her publications in renowned journals such as Archives of NIMH and BJPsych International highlight her dedication to expanding knowledge in the mental health domain. She has conducted research on various topics, including Caregivers’ Burden of Children with Intellectual Disability, Stressors and Mental Health in Bangladesh, Physical Comorbidity in Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Hallucinations in Schizophrenia and Mood Disorders.

She serves as the Secretary of International Affairs in the Bangladesh Association of Psychiatrists (BAP) and is a member of the Scientific Committee of BAP.
